Hope to see some of you this Tuesday (8/26) at the Mean Eyed Cat...8-10 pm. Don't be put off by the construction, there is some parking out front and some down the street at the bank. Just be careful crossing that f-ed up 5th St!
The Cat is Cool, but not kid-friendly. Hey, there's gotta be a few places, right? Nor do they allow pets, as it should be because there's drums and cigarettes and all. It's outdoors, come undressed.
I'll have usual suspects RG Stark and Bill Black with me, and special guest Steve Royal on drums! So we'll be rocking it up some, and making like it's Friday night. And who knows...those darn Texas Honeys just might be there...

New CD Released
ON June 10, 2008 at Mean Eyed Cat in Austin, Texas, a capacity crowd of partiers came out to rock with us. The band was great: Ron Flynt and Bill Black on bass and vocals, Vicente Rodriguez and Mark Patterson on drums, RG Stark and Eric Hisaw on guitars, RG Stark on vocals and trombone, Penny Jo Pullus, Suzanne Sherwin and Walter Tragert on vocals. We had a blast onstage, and the folks who came out seemed to be having fun, too, and BIG THANKS to everyone for the love.
My beautiful sister, Debbye, was here to help me take pictures, manage the crowd and keep 'em happy, and we had a great vacation week after.

Well, it's time to celebrate a project finished and well done. The rehearsal for the Cd release party was a blast, and can only believe the party itself will be the same. Come one and all, well, they don't let kids in, but adults come on. Mean Eye on Tues.

Running out of Excuses
I don't know if anyone reads my news here, but I do. I've made the big step, I scheduled a mastering session with Jerry Tubb at Terra Nova. He did a great job on my last record and after much belabored research and many annoying questions later, I came back to square one. Not that Jerry is square. But I guess maybe I am a little. Some of my friends are admittedly square. I sort of like it.
So yeah, mastering next week. Then artwork is the only excuse I have left. Yikes. I'm running out of excuses. I hate that.
